Mike Wolfe lives in Sparta, Georgia with his wife, Tori. They have two grown children, Drew, a machine operator, and Lindsey, a Georgia College & State University. student A 24-year veteran law enforcement officer, Mike is currently a full-time employee of the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force. He previously worked with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office for 17 years, with the last 9 years being assigned to the investigative division where he worked primarily in the narcotics unit.
Although Mike enjoys hunting deer, duck, goose, quail, rabbit, squirrel, hog and predators, his passion is turkey hunting. He began deer hunting with his father at the age of 6. He has taken white tail deer that have scored from 120 to 140 B&C. Mike began his love affair with turkey hunting at the age of 8. He enjoys hunting with his father every opening week. Mike has hunted turkey in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Missouri and Wyoming. He is a member of the NWTF. He frequently serves as a guide for the JAKES program. He has participated in the “County Goes Huntin” in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, helping raise money for the Wheelin’ Sportsmen. Mike also is an avid bow hunter.
In 2008, Mike also had the pleaser of participating in the BLUE RYNO foundation Turkey Hunt which helped raise money for The Children’s cure for cancer.
Mike began his Pro-Staff career with Knight Hale in 1997. Prior to that, he represented Knight & Hale through the Don Coffee Company. He is also a member of the Bass Pro Shop “Red Head” Pro Staff, Spectrum Outdoors Pro Staff and BOAR HAWG Pro Staff.
