Jason was born and raised in South East Minnesota. Pretty much from the time he could walk he tagged along with his dad hunting, trapping, and fishing. At a young age he fell in love with the outdoors and often dreamt of being part of outdoor television hunting. In the fall of 1999 Jason purchased his first video camera, and from there his dreams turned into reality. In the fall of 2001 Jason got his big break when Mark Drury saw some of the footage that Jason and his hunting partner had captured. Later that fall they became Drury Outdoors team members. Jason spent eight great years videoing for Drury Outdoors, where he appeared on the first ever seasons of Bow Madness, Wildlife Obsession and Dream Season. He has also appeared on numerous DVD and videos. There is not a doubt in his mind that he would not be where he is today in the outdoor industry without the help of the Drury Outdoors Family.
In the summer of 2008 Jason got the opportunity to come over to Hardcore Hunting TV and Grand Slam Adventures and be more involved with day to day operations. By 2009 Jason was moved up to co-host of Hardcore Hunting TV. Jason can also be seen around the country doing numerous charity events as a guest seminar speaker.
