As a bow hunting specialist, Darin was introduced to his life long sport & the outdoors by his oldest brother in southern Virginia. After many great years of playing football/baseball and racing motorcross he certainly found his calling in the woods of whitetail country.
Moving to Georgia in 1990 he began a bigger passion for bow hunting and a greater understanding for the woods. Georgia bow season meant hot summer evenings and long sweaty hunts! Never giving in and never missing a hunt Darin was always known for being in the woods somewhere. Even if that meant calling in sick to work one early November day and proceeded to harvest one of the largest whitetail bucks in his county! True story….
Married in 1994 and 2 kids later his new responsibility was to introduce the outdoors to his children. Daughter Erika named newborn brother Hunter after her dads love to “Hunt”. Spending countless of days educating them on deer sign & turkey habits his work started paying off as both felt Gods gift & peace from the outdoors. They all continue to hunt & fish today.
2005 signified a tremendous year as Darin joined long time friend Mark Knight to
provide a tremendous whitetail deer hunting experience for all to enjoy. Midwest Whitetail Adventures!! Starting off with a Pro-staff position and consulting on day-to-day operations they quickly grew the business into one of Illinois top ranked outfitters.
Now they take their talents & comedy to Hardcore Hunting TV as a premier whitetail team. Stay tuned for that!!
Videography then found Darin’s heart!! A greater passion!! What a new challenge.. Quickly he grew from avid successful hunter to being behind the camera. With his working knowledge of the bow hunting sport he is able to create phenomenal footage for the big screen. The newfound obsession has taken Darin to numerous TV shows and allowed him the privilege of filming many sports, country music & outdoor personalities.
